Caring can be rewarding, but sometimes the demands of caring can bring up a range of emotions. If you would like to speak to someone, our Counselling program is available.
Are you looking for someone to talk to?
Our friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you work through the emotions and challenges carers face everyday. We can provide advice, support and information specific to your situation. Get Advice.
Would you prefer to meet face to face with other people in your situation, in a relaxed, social environment? To take a break and share experiences and tips on how to make caring easier? Or make a time to meet with one of our friendly carer support staff?
We offer Carer Support in a wide range of forms, such as one-one-one individual support from our friendly staff, or activity groups, support sessions, social outings, retreats and educational workshops with other carers.
The financial implications of a long term caring role can be serious. You may be entitled to help with the costs of being a carer. We can provide you with information about financial supports available and working and caring.
