Carer Advisory Service is located at the Carers SA. It is a Statewide Information
Service for all Carers.
Why
a Carer Advisory Service?

| Carers
receive most of their support from family or friends. There
are times when additional support and information may be needed.
Information is important to allow informed decisions to be made
about the peoples lives, both the Carer and the person that
they care for. |

The service can
be reached on FreeCall number of 1800 242 636 and provides
information, referral and tailor made Carer
Support Kits.
The Carer Advisory Service is an Australian Government initiative.
Who
is it for?
The Carer Advisory Service is for Carers young and old, regardless of cultural background
or the disability or condition of the person that is cared for.
The service is free and accessible to all Carers.

The National Carer Counselling Program
