Carers Awareness Week 2008

Carers Awareness Week 2008 is to be held from October 19-25 when Carer groups from all around the state will hold events to celebrate the occasion and raise awareness of Carers in their community.

Carers Day - FREE MOVIE

Carers SA welcomes all Carers and their Families to the Carers Day out at the Movies. To celebrate Carers Week we will be screening a Free session of "Mamma Mia" at the Capri Theater Goodwood on the 21st of October the Tuesday of Carers Week.

Carers and their families are invited as are groups of Carers. The event is free but bookings are ESSENTIAL so please give us a call on 8271 6288 to reserve your seats. For more details download the calendar of events above.

National Carers Awareness Week

Carers Week is a time to acknowledge the work of Carers and to recognise the contributions they make to the community.

Carer's Week also provides an opportunity for Carers to get together throughout Australia to share experiences and to celebrate.

Carer's Week is a national event with thousands of Carers across Australia coming together locally to recoginse fellow Carers, share, support and have fun together. Take the opportunity to celebrate either at an offical event in the Calendar of events or locally get together with firends neigbours or relatives that Care.
